The Safari Walk provides a perfect start to a safari in Kenya by creating awareness, understanding and appreciation of Kenya’s variety of wild animals, birds and plants in their surroundings and their interdependence and relationship to mankind.
Tradition has it that there once stood seven temples along the shore line in this area. Today, the only one that is there is the Shore Temple. It was built during the 7th century by the artisan Rajasimha under the rule of Narasimha Varman II.
City Palace situated in the heart of the old City, it occupies about one seventh of the old city area. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, it houses a Seven storeyed Chandra Mahal in the center.
